The Rear Leg Lift Harness has top handles and a spring bar for lifting weight off the back end during stairs or car entry. The Hip Wrap is lighter, has no handles, and is built for wear-and-go everyday padded coverage around the hindquarters. Pick the Hip Wrap when the dog doesn't need lifting, just a padded layer she can wear for longer stretches.
Soft neoprene with hook-and-loop fastening straps. Flexible against the body, breathable enough for everyday wear, and soft against the skin.
The wrap opens flat and slides under a resting dog. Position the padded panel under the hindquarters, then bring each strap up and over and fasten. No need to make a tired dog stand to put it on.
It's designed for extended wear during the day. Many dog parents take the wrap off at night so the skin can breathe, and put it back on in the morning. The brushed lining is comfortable against the coat for longer sessions.
The adjustable hook-and-loop straps secure the wrap front-to-back and around the waist, so the fit can be dialed in tight enough to stay in place during ordinary walking and movement. Any wrap can shift during very active play; this one is built more for steady day-to-day wear than for running.
Hand wash with cool water and mild soap. Air dry. Do not machine wash or tumble dry – heat can damage neoprene.
