Match it to the furniture height. The 3-step (15.7") works for couches and low beds up to about 17 inches. The 4-step (19.7") fits most standard beds up to 21 inches. The 5-step (22.5") is for taller beds up to about 24 inches. Measure from the floor to the top of the mattress or cushion and pick the closest match.
The stairs ship vacuum-compressed, so they'll look like a flat brick when the box opens. Once the plastic wrap is punctured, they start expanding right away. Most customers say they're close to full size within a few hours, but we recommend a full 24 to 48 hours before use to make sure the foam is fully expanded.
The bottom has a non-slip grip surface that holds well on most floors. For the best results, push the stairs flush against the furniture so there's no gap. On very smooth floors, placing a small rug or mat underneath can help if a dog tends to charge up at full speed.
Yes. The fleece cover zips off and is machine washable. Just don't wash the inner foam itself. Toss the cover in on a gentle cycle, air dry or tumble dry low, and zip it back on.
They're built with 33D high-density foam and an internal support board, so they hold their shape well under regular use. They're designed for small to medium dogs. Most customers with dogs up to around 40 to 50 pounds report no issues. For larger or heavier dogs, a rigid ramp might be a better fit.
Totally normal. Most dogs need a day or two to warm up to them. Start by placing treats on each step and letting the dog explore at their own pace. Don't force it. A lot of customers say their dogs figured it out within a few days, some within hours. The soft fleece surface actually helps because dogs feel more secure on it than on hard plastic steps.
