The Basic Dog Knee Brace is a soft compression sleeve – fabric only, no metal, no straps, pulls on like a sock. This Premium brace adds six internal metal spring stays and hook-and-loop closures for structured alignment of the joint. Pick this one when the knee needs more than gentle compression.
Six flexible spring-steel strips run along both sides of the joint. They flex with natural movement but resist over-extension. The stays are sandwiched between neoprene padding inside and the reflective nylon shell outside.
Either. The universal design fits both the front and rear leg, on the left or right side. Match by knee circumference, not by leg position.
Hook-and-loop straps secure the brace above and below the knee. Once dialed in for a specific dog, the fit holds during normal walking and movement. Any brace can shift during very active play; the metal stays help the brace return to position after movement.
Yes. Open the velcro straps, lay the brace flat against the leg, then bring each strap up and over. No need to make a tired dog stand.
Hand wash with cool water and mild soap. Air dry. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or wring – the metal stays should not be spun or twisted.
